Comments:	I had started watching cricket when i was 9 years old and it was during the Benson & Hedges World Cup of 1992 that my fascination for the game increased. Coloured clothing,flood-lit stadiums and after all the legendary Imran Khan were a source of inspiration for me. I loved the way he would run towards the crease and swing the ball into the batsmen. Wonderfull. I always wanted to be a cricketer like Imran. My room used to be occupied with his posters and i still remember my dad tearing down a few posters as he wanted his son to put posters of India cricketers. But i was now looking up to Imran as a role model and an icon. I started playing cricket for my school and slowly for my University. And yes by now you must have guessed it i am a right arm fast bowler. I am trying my level best to get into the State team. Lets see by the grace and love of god wether i would be able to make it. While I see myself as a muslim, I have also adapted to the western culture that I have been brought up in and like to think that I have retained the best of both cultures. I find myself at a inflexion point now as I am in love with a western woman but am worried that my long term identity of Islam and of being a Pakistani might be at risk if I marry her. While I know that I have to make my own decisions, I would like your advice on this matter as you have had first hand experience of cross cultural marriage and your ties to your faith and country seem to be as strong (if not stronger) than my own.
